A big congratulations to Abid and Paul who, after nearly a week of training, have become our newly qualified truck mounted forklift drivers.
Cargo Express are expanding their fleet to include a new 18 tonne vehicle with forklift capability in line with customer and market demand. This can ensure we can make deliveries to sites where forklifts are required but not available, and can reduce costs to our customers by saving on forklift hire at various sites.
The new 18 tonne vehicle is due to arrive at our Birmingham headquarters within the next month, adding to the three trailers already built and equipped to carry and operate with a truck mounted forklifts. Cargo Express are also in negotiations, ordering another two trailers with forklift capacity in the near future.
